Clive Palmer sold off his entire shareholding in his Queensland based coal mining company overnight.
The surprising move comes after Palmer's conscience finally managed to catch-up with him, having broken through the fortress of fat covering his heart.
Clive is expected to call a media conference shortly announcing that now that he was not conflicted with profiteering from coal, he would vote down any proposal to expand coal mining in Queensland, even if it has nothing to do with the Chinese.
Sarah Hanson-Young from the Greens said that Clive was her new hero. Greg Hunt was too busy adjusting his glasses to comment.
